Mary Dubose Weaver, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 29, 2024 at USA Medical Center. Born on December 1, 1965, Mary’s life was a testament to her sweet and humble nature, characterized by her outgoing personality and kindness towards others. She was known for not meeting a stranger, embracing everyone she encountered with warmth and gratitude.
Mary was a devoted mother to her daughters, Chancy Hill (Darrel) and Leroy'a Weaver Allo (Michael). Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren, Alleyonna, A'Riya, and Drey, who were the light of her life and her proudest accomplishments. Her love for them knew no bounds, and she often expressed that they were her world.
Mary had a profound passion for spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and indulging in her love for fantasy and sci-fi shows, which provided much joy and entertainment in her life. Her generosity was evident in her willingness to give anyone the shirt off her back, demonstrating her selflessness and love for those around her.
In addition to her immediate family, Mary leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly, alongside her best friends: Bonnie "Bobo" Weaver, Savina Anderson, Sherry Dean, Tyrone "T-Man" Williams, Nicolette Weaver and Patsy Middleton. Special nieces, Brittnay Gonzalez (Derek), Jennifer Anderson (Virgil), Patricia "Red" Weaver and Angela Rivers (Jimmy), will also carry her memory close to their hearts.
Mary is predeceased by her parents, L.R. and Susie Dubose, and her sisters, Shandon Wade and Leigh S. Dubose. Though she is no longer with us, the impact of her loving spirit will continue to resonate with all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service at First Baptist Church of McIntosh with Bro. Greg Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in First Baptist Church of McIntosh Cemetery. Repass will be held at 1340 John Johnston Road McIntosh, Alabama 36553 immediately after services.
As we remember Mary Dubose Weaver, let us celebrate the love she shared, the joy she brought to our lives, and the legacy of kindness she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
