Mauvilla Reed

Mauvilla Reed, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, July 1, 2021. She was 94 years old. She was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Liberty Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Reed; daughters, Maudean McNeely and Bonnie Johnston and a great granddaughter Taylor Talbott. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Luverne Jones, Linda Anglin Piper (Tom), Lana Smith (Walter), Pearlie Reed and Deborah Boothe (Bubba); 13 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; siblings, Willis Reed (Darlene), Marilyn Tolbert (Gene), Faye Chestang and Francis Heifner (Dusty); other relatives and friends. A wake will be held Friday, July 2, 2021 6pm-9pm at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2pm Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Hillspring Holiness Church with Rev. Lester Reed, Rev.
