Maxine B Nichols

Maxine B. Nichols, 85, a native and resident of Mt. Vernon, Alabama passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Azalea Gardens of Mobile. She retired from Searcy Hospital with over 10 years of service. She was a longtime member of Lockler Memorial Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, William J. and Glovie Brooks; two sisters, Clyde E. Walker and Aileen Freeman; daughter, Sharon Collette Nichols. Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 67 years, Lewis Clayton Nichols; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1pm until the 2pm Funeral Service on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Lockler Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in Mt.
