Michael Shane Byrd, age 41, of McIntosh, AL, died Sunday, November 1, 2009, at Providence Hospital in Mobile, AL. He was a member of Simple House of Praise Church in Mt Vernon. He is survived by his Mother & Step-Father- Reva & Verma Reed of McIntosh; Father & Step-Mother- Lem D. & Mary Byrd of Mt Vernon, Daughter-Alaina Nicole Byrd & Son-Michael Shane Byrd, Jr. both of McIntosh, Four Sisters,Angela Middleton of McIntosh, Phyllis Nelson, Ingrid Simmons & Tiffany Beason all of Mobile, Nine Brothers,Lem D. Byrd, Jr. of Mount Vernon, Travis Lamar Byrd of Axis, Gerald Weaver of McIntosh, Vance Reed of Citronelle, Troy Reed of McIntosh, Gregory Reed of McIntosh, Jason Daniel Byrd of Mount Vernon, Christopher F. Reed of Saraland, Philip D. Byrd of Mount Vernon. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the 12:00 PM Funeral Service Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Simple House of Praise Church with Rev. Isom Scarborough officiating.
