Mickel Lervon Rivers

Mickel “K-Boy” Rivers, 53, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016, at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital. He drove a log truck for many years. Mickel loved to ride four wheelers and spend time with his family. K-Boy was always happy; he was always making jokes and making people laugh. Mickel was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, McKinley and Stella Rivers; his sister, Lilly Bell Sullivan; and his grandson, Kyler Weaver. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, April Johnston; daughters, Paula Jordan, Malia Rivers, Cecilia Rivers, and Chelsea LaShay Rivers; grandchildren, Cameron, Bailey, and Bella; siblings, Betty Byrd (Leon), George Farmer, Hazel Weaver (Glen), Maeola Allen, Shirley Farmer, Ensley Farmer (Jamie), Diane McDaniels (Wahoo), Judy Weaver (Lamaze), and Wallace Rivers (Lynn); and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Wahoo McDaniels and Bro. Jackie Snow officiating.
