Mildred Simison Johnston Fuller Denton, 90, a native of Mt. Vernon, Alabama passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at Citronelle Convalescent Center. Mildred was Past Matron of the Eastern Star, Past Queen of one of the Mobile Mystic Societies, volunteered at Red Cross Blood Bank. She was a member of the Mount Vernon United Methodist Church and worked at Brookley Air Force Base, Halby Chemical Company, Ciba Geigy and Searcy Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, John P. and Eva Simison; husbands, Herman Johnston and James “Ed" Fuller; brothers, Lawrence Simison, Elmer "Duke" Simison, Murray Simison, Neal Simison, Johnny Simison, Charles Simison, Joseph Simison and Dallas Simison, daughter, Barbara Johnston Gibson. She is survived by her daughter, Robin (Paul) Johnston Duff; son, Darryl (Paula) G. Johnston, step-son, Tim (Julie) Fuller; sister, Janice (Donnie) Simison Dueitt; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. A wake will be held Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 6pm-9pm at Freeman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11am, Friday, May 15, 2015 at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church with Rev.
