Minnie Eldora Rivers

Minnie Eldora Rivers, 52, a native of Mt. Vernon, Alabama and resident of Chunchula, Alabama passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at her home. She was a 1981 graduate of Citronelle High School and former employee of the Alabama Power Company. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. Minnie loved to work, especially outdoors and around the house. She was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Mary Irene Rivers. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Michael Angelo (Jasmine) Weaver; brothers, Paul A. (Nina) Rivers and Ryan K. (Laci) Rivers; sisters, Angie (Lee) LeGear and Susan (Sebron) Byrd; special friend, Ethel Mae Byrd; three aunts, Mable Weaver, Bernice Davis and Ruthie Mae Weaver; uncle, Van D. Rivers; twelve nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Rev. John Coghlan as Celebrant.
