He was born on May 30, 1945, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Morris and Inez Cooley. Alongside his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Cecil "Bo" Cooley.
Butch lived a fulfilling life as a retired rebar detailer and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He had an incredible sense of humor that brought joy to all those around him. His laughter was contagious, and his quick wit never failed to lighten the mood. Butch had the remarkable ability to uplift others with his lightheartedness and spread happiness wherever he went.
Devoted to his family, Butch possessed an unwavering devotion towards his wife of 59 years, Sabra Cooley. Their love stood as a true testament to the power of commitment and partnership. Through life's ups and downs, they stood side by side, sharing in each other's joys and sorrows.
