Morris Douglas Williams, Sr.

Morris Douglas Williams, Sr., a resident of Vinegar Bend, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, April 04, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was 84 years old.  Morris was born December 13, 1938, in Vinegar Bend, and lived there his whole life.  He was known as a jokester that loved to have a good time.  He was also a very hard worker and loved everyone.  In his spare time, Morris enjoyed dog hunting.

Morris was preceded in death by his wife, MaryAnn Williams; daughter, Brenda Williams; granddaughter, Wendy Ellis; and parents, Willard and Hazel Williams.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Morris D. Williams, Jr. (Robin) and Mark D. Williams (Evelyn); granddaughter, Anna Williams; great grandson, Chandler; sister, Agnes Williams; brother, James R. Williams; other relatives; and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service Thursday, April 06, 2023, at Burbank First Pentecostal Church, with Rev. James Bice officiating.  Burial will follow in Okwakee Cemetery.
