Murel Travis Rivers

Mr. Murel Rivers, 65, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2015 at Springhill Memorial Hospital. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Vester Rivers; brother, Lloyd Rivers, Jr.; and nephew, Chad Christopher Dees. Left to cherish his memories are his sisters, Grace (Michael Sr.) Dees, Sylvia (Clyce) Orso, Shirley (Ricky) Ramsey; brother, Hubert (Karen) Rivers. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 2 pm, with a visitation prior to the service, beginning at 1 pm, all at Freeman Funeral Home. Rev. John Forister will be officiating.
