Naomi Jones

Naomi Jones, a resident of Hanceville, Alabama, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017. She was 70 years old. Naomi was born February 16, 1947. She loved dressing up, looking pretty and shopping. Naomi loved listening to gospel music and hearing God’s word. She will be greatly missed. Naomi is preceded in death by her parents, Elwood and Catherine Stringfellow; and brothers, Tim Stringfellow and James Stringfellow. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, John Edward Jones; daughter, Priscilla Thompson (Dustin); grandsons, John Huffman (Kaitlin), Daniel Huffman, Billy Jackson, and Sylas Thompson; granddaughters, Sara Huffman, Hailey Sisson (Will), and Abigail Thompson; great grandchildren, Mason Huffman, Kabri Sisson, and one expected to arrive October 2017; brother, David Stringfellow (Marlene); sister, Katie Lois Stoffle (Keith), Dorcas Stringfellow (Brenda); sister, Elizabeth Carpenter (John); sister in law, Liz Stringfellow (Craig); and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the 11am funeral service Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Stockman.
