Neil Shelton Weaver

Neil Shelton Weaver, 59, a resident of Creola, Alabama passed away at his home on April 8, 2020. In his younger days, Neil was a boxer and later became a painter. He loved fishing and watching football. Neil will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelton Hillary Weaver and Carolyn Janice Weaver; and brother, Virace Lynn Weaver, Sr. Those left to cherish his memory is his wife, Veronica Weaver; children, Elizabeth Byrd, Shelton Weaver, Jr., Mitchell Dane Weaver, Katlyn Byrd and Nevaeh Weaver; grandchildren, Kevin Byrd, Jr., Kevelyn Byrd, Kelsey Byrd, Kennedy Byrd, and Jaydon Phillips; siblings, Bruce Edward Weaver, Janice Delores Green, Taylor Weaver, Caroline Weaver, Emily Weaver, and Michael Weaver; other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. Due to the current health situation and orders from Department of Public Health, only 7 people may enter the facility for visitation at a time and compliance with social distancing will be observed. A private graveside service and interment with his immediate family will be held at Reed’s Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Wilbert Reed officiating.
