Nelson Lee "Rocky" Mozingo

Nelson Lee “Rocky” Mozingo, Sr., 77, a native of Gilbertown, Alabama and a resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Citronelle Convalescent Center. Mr. Mozingo retired from Ciba-Geigy and Brown & Root Construction Company. He enjoyed working in his garden, turkey hunting, listening to bluegrass music and attending Cedar Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Lee Mozingo and his wife, Faye Mozingo. He loved his family and leaves to cherish his memory a son, Michael (Laurie) Mozingo; daughter, Jerraine Mozingo; grandchildren, Wesley, Cameron, Hunter, Zach and Christian; great grandchild, Jayden; brother, Norman “Big Jim” Mozingo; sister, Shirley Kolb; devoted friend, Esther Byrd; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, May 8, 2015 from 10am until the 11am funeral service at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Nick Williams officiating.
