Netta Doreen Johnson, 66, a native of Brushy Creek, Mississippi and resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Netta worked as a cashier and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Thomas Dueitt and Elma Lou Tabor Dueitt; brothers, Louis Dueitt and Crawford Dueitt; and sister, Imogene Cook. Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 50 years, Calvin Johnson; daughter, Tina Dees (Tom); two sons, Leo H. “Pete” Johnson (Melissa) and Mike S. Johnson (Jessica); a nephew whom she helped raise, Adam Griffin; grandchildren, Lindsey Simpson, Stephanie Simpson, Stacie Simpson, Courtney Johnson, Cody Johnson, Carley Johnson, Calynn Johnson, Sara Johnson, Shania Johnson, Savannah Johnson and Skipper Johnson; seven great grandsons; brothers, Thomas Dueitt, Orville Dueitt, and Roy Dueitt; sisters, Bonnie Dixon, Amy Jo Davis and Frieda Savage; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1pm until the 2pm Memorial Service on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Marcus Hobbs officiating.
