Nora Jean Idom

Nora Jean Idom, a resident of Chunchula, Alabama, passed away Saturday, January 09, 2016, at USA Medical Center. Nora was 50 years old. In her spare time, Nora greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to joke and play around with them. Nora was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Nora was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Nora Lofton; brother, Raymond Lofton; sister, Elsie Chestang; and nephew, Matthew Bradley Sullivan. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Frank Idom; nieces and nephews raised as her own, Nora Chestang, Britney Chestang, Angela Lofton, Sherry Trehern, Dahonda Lofton, Jackson Chestang, and Brantley Chestang; sisters, Laura Johnston and Janie Champion; brothers, Bennie Lofton, Jay Lofton, Randy Lofton, and Otto Lofton; and many other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held for Nora at 11am Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Joe Waltrip officiating.
