Nora Virginia Lofton

Nora Virginia Lofton, 73, a resident of Chunchula, Alabama passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at Providence Hospital after a brief illness. She was a homemaker and member of Lighthouse of Prayer Church in Gulfcrest, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Esther Johnston; husband, Jack Lofton; son, Ramon Lofton; grandson, Bradley Sullivan; sister, Mickie Rivers; brothers, James Johnston, Raymond Johnston. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Bennie Lofton, Randy Lofton, Otto Lofton, Jay Lofton, Jason Allen; daughters, Laura Johnston, Norajean Idom, Elsie Chestang, Janice Champion, Christine Chestang, Brittney Chestang; brothers, Peter Johnston, Jerry Johnston, Bobby Johnston; sisters, Doll Cooley, Louise Johnston, Judy Hobbin, Terry Kay Goodman; 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, February 21, 2014 from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Evans and Sis. Wanda Johnston officiating.
