Norma Regina Gray, a native of McIntosh and a resident of Saraland, Alabama, passed away Friday, March 03, 2017, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. She was 71 years old. Norma was born February 08, 1946, to Clayton and Ida Mae Reed. After high school, Norma went on to become a registered nurse. She worked at Mobile Infirmary for 29 years before retiring. Norma also worked at International Paper Company and provided home health services to families in her community. Her home church was Magnolia Holiness Church, however, she frequently attended Freedom Apostolic Holiness Church in Axis. Norma was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tonya Michelle Reed; and her parents, Clayton and Ida Mae Reed. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Tim Weaver (Cynthia), Pam Weaver (Mark), Lacey Harper (Larry), and Mitzy Byrd (Eddie); grandchildren, Ryan, Rachel, Timothy, Morgan, Ethan, Brandon, and Leland; great grandchildren, Cullen and Remmalyn; 7 brothers; 5 sisters; devoted friends, Earl Sullivan and Earl Riggs; and many other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for Norma starting at 6pm on Monday, March 06, 2017, at Magnolia Holiness Church. The funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, March 07, 2017, at Magnolia Holiness Church with Bro. Ike Reed officiating. Online condolences may be given at www.freemancitronelle.com.
