Ollie Taylor

Ollie Hopkins Taylor, a resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama, passed away Friday, January 01, 2021, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was 88 years old. She loved going to church and singing in the choir. She also enjoyed watching Jimmy Swaggart. Most of all, Ollie loved taking care of her family, especially her two boys. Ollie was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Cornelia Hopkins; her husband, Jerry Lee Taylor; son, David Lee; great grandson, Case Ketchum; and brothers and sisters. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Tommy Taylor and Ricky Taylor; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; brother, Paul Hopkins (Joan); and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service Thursday, January 07, 2021, at Simple House of Praise Church with Rev. Dean Hopkins and Rev. Clay Lewis officiating.
