Pamela Nicole Byrd

Pamela Nicole Byrd, beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on October 10, 2024, at the Children's Hospital of Alabama, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 2, 2001, Pamela was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her, embodying qualities of love, kindness, and humility. Her generous spirit and infectious laughter left a lasting impression on both family and friends alike.

Pamela's close relationship with her mother, Ashley Byrd, illustrated the strength of their bond, as they always supported one another through life's journeys. She shared an equally strong connection with her boyfriend, Lashun Penn, affectionately known as "Bay Bay," who was very special to her. Pamela took great pride in her family, including her parents, Jimmy and Ashley Byrd, and her siblings, Justin Byrd, Jimmy Byrd, Jr. (KK), Mary Byrd (Tamykel), Mason Byrd, and Triston Gaines. She also cherished her great-grandmother, Martha Sullivan; grandmothers, Pamela Sullivan (Joey) and Nellie Foster; and great uncle, Daddy Charlie. Pamela's love extended to her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives and friends, all of whom will surely miss her vibrant spirit.

Known for her happy disposition and great sense of humor, Pamela brought joy to those around her. She loved spending time with family and friends, often bringing smiles and light-hearted moments into their lives. An avid animal lover, she found joy in her dogs, adding warmth and laughter to her home.

Pamela's life, although too brief, was filled with accomplishments that she deeply cherished, particularly her relationships with her family, friends, and her precious dogs. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness that will continue to resonate within her community.

A visitation in her honor will be held on October 16, 2024, from 11:00 AM until the 2:00 PM funeral service at Magnolia Holiness Church with Bro. Paul Chestang, Bro. Robert Byrd, and Bro. Hunter Curtis officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Aubrey Smith, James Robert Byrd, Kevin Byrd, Alfred Weaver, Jr., Daniel Chestang, and Michael Massey, Jr.

Pamela Nicole Byrd will be dearly missed, but her loving spirit, humor, and dedication to her family and relationships will forever remain in our hearts. She is now reunited with her loved ones who have passed, including her great grandfathers, Ralph Chestang, Jeff Sullivan, and Alfred Weaver; grandfathers, John Mason Byrd and George D. Chestang, Sr.; great grandmothers, Mira Ashley and Maggie Weaver; and great aunt, Momma Clara. May she rest in peace.
