Paul Calvin Mims

Mr. Paul Calvin Mims,73, a native of Turnerville, AL and resident of Sims Chapel, AL passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Springhill Memorial Medical Center. Paul was a retired crane operator and a member of Rivers Baptist Church. He loved fishing and hunting and enjoying time with his family at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, sister, son, and daughter. Left to cherish his memory his wife, Wanda J. Mims; sons, David Scrimpshire, John Gardner, LeRogers Smith; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brother, Rev. Guy Mims; sister, Nell Jacobs and Faye Ackron; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 1pm until the 2pm funeral service at Rivers Baptist Church with Rev. Guy Mims, Rev. Nick Williams and Rev. Sammy Rivers officiating.
