Paul Raymond Cole, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Monday, May 09, 2022, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. He was 75 years old. Paul served in the National Guard for many years and was a lead lineman for Alabama Power for 49 ½ years. He was passionate about his line of work, having mentored many young linemen who went on become leaders themselves. In his spare time, Paul loved his Country Music, Alabama football, NASCAR racing, and hunting. Most of all, Paul was a loving, romantic, and supportive husband and father to his family. He spent his life making sure his family was taken care of, and they will miss him dearly.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Abb C. Cole and Ola Mae Cole; siblings, Gracie Turner and Cecil Cole.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Betty Cole; children, Kenneth Paul Cole (Lori), Melisa Carlton (Ronnie), Kevin Cole; grandchildren, Taylor, Tori, Landyn, Slayde, Dustin, Lindsey, Cody, and Justin; siblings, James Cole, Roger Cole (Brenda), Alene Stringer (Richard), and Marie Sanchez (Tom); other relatives; and friends.
A wake will be held for Paul from 6pm until 9pm Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life service will be held at 10am Friday, May 13, 2022, at Charity Chapel Jesus Name Church with Rev. James Cobb, Rev. James Cole and Rev. Leo Campbell officiating.
