Paula Michelle Jordan, born on October 11, 1987, departed this life on March 9, 2025, leaving behind a legacy defined by her unwavering love, compassion, and strength. A devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Paula's life was a testament to the power of connection and the importance of family.
Paula was a strong woman who made everyone feel valued and secure. She possessed a unique gift for creating a safe haven for those around her—a place where friends could share their joys and sorrows. Her love for people was immense, and she had an extraordinary ability to put others before herself. When she loved, she loved fiercely and without reservation.
Among her proudest accomplishments was seeing her son, Cameron Weaver, embark on a journey in the military, a moment that filled her with pride and joy. Another achievement close to her heart was fulfilling her lifelong dream of becoming a truck driver, a tribute to her father's legacy. Above all, Paula cherished her family, and her devotion to them was evident in all she did.
She enjoyed drawing and had a flair for getting dressed up, often capturing moments with her friends through “selfies.” However, her greatest joy came from being surrounded by family and friends, as she thrived in the warmth and laughter that such gatherings brought.
Paula is survived by her son, Cameron Weaver (Gracen); her daughter, Annabella Johnston; parents, April Johnston and Edward "Cowboy" Evans; her God parents, Hazel and Glen Weaver, Diane and Wahoo McDaniels; siblings, Jeremy Johnston (Santana), Cliff Johnston (Amber), Malia Rivers, Cecilia Rivers, Charlie Brannon, Tosha Chestang, Karen Harris, Robin Henderson, and Deanna Tunstall; God brothers Glen Weaver, Jr. and Randy Farmer; God sister Marsha Chestang; a special aunt, Belinda Johnston; and a host of nieces, nephews, numerous aunts and uncles, and many other relatives and close friends.
Paula was preceded in death by her son, Kyler Lawrence Weaver; her father, Mickel Rivers; step father, Mike Grace; her God parents, Lawrence and Lilly Bell Sullivan; her grandparents, McKinley and Stella Rivers and Paul and Ann Johnston; and her special friend, Derrick Skanes.
Visitation services will be held at Cedar Creek Baptist Church on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 12:00 PM until the 1:00 PM funeral service with Bro. Ronnie Toomey, Bro. Bruce Shaw, Bro. Wahoo McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in Byrd Cemetery.
As we remember Paula Michelle Jordan, we celebrate the profound impact she made on all who knew her and will carry her vibrant spirit in our hearts forever.
