Phillip Gabriel Stanley, age 55, a native of Citronelle, AL and resident of Mobile, AL, died Friday, April 17, 2009, at his home. Phillip was a member of Roman Catholic Church, retired from Syngenta Chemical after 36 years of dedicated service as a Maintenance Technician, served as President of United Steel Workers of America Local 8767, member Saraland Jaycees, Past President of Mobile County Democratic Executive Committee, Past President of Mobile Port Council, Organizer for the Southeast Region United Steel Workers of America, dedicated member of Southwest Alabama Labor Council, served on Executive Board of The United Way, member of several mystic societies, a shriner and a mason. Funeral service will be at Freeman Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Monday, April 20, 2009 . Interment will be at Charity Chapel Cemetery in Charity Chapel, AL.
