Printtella Snow Bedwell was born in McIntosh, Alabama February 18, 1935. She gave her life to God in 1964 and from that very day she dedicated her life to winning souls for Christ through witnessing in shopping centers, brush arbors and tent revivals. She was known to many as a Prophetess, Mother, Evangelist and Prayer Warrior; in all she did she walked by faith. Printtella Bedwell founded and pastored Refuge for Souls Holiness Church in Citronelle Alabama she had a jail ministry for over 20 years where she faithfully ministered to the prisoners of the Washington County Jail every Sunday morning. She visited several Convalescent Homes throughout the week and also had a Radio broadcast on WMOB in Mobile Alabama for more than 20 years. There were many who came to know Christ through her dedication and service to God and many miracles were performed. Her joys of life included praying, gardening, canning and cooking. Due to a lengthy illness Printtella Bedwell resided with her son in Shawnee, Oklahoma for the past 10 years she lived in Chunchula, Eight Mile and Creighton Alabama from 1975 to 2001, she also lived in Louisiana for more than 25 years. Each place she lived she was well known and had many family and friends. People knew her by many different names Sis. Print, Sis Pat, or Mother Bedwell. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years Albert Bedwell Jr., son Albert Bedwell Jr III, father Arthur Snow, mother Frozine Barbra, two sisters Gertrude Murphy and Grace Snow, and two brothers Arthur "Emmitt" Snow and Ray Snow. She leaves to cherish her memory seven children, one son David (Frankie) Bedwell six daughters, Beverly (Bob) Bute, Rhonda (Henry) Mez, Trudy (Doug) Teston, Karla (JD) Sample, Addie (Quentin) Sereal, and Faith (Armon) Adams; 41 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph Snow and A.J. Snow; sister, Virginia Reed; special friend Charles “Charlie” Morgan. The Wake will be from 6-9 pm Friday, July 12, 2013 at Freeman Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 11 am Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Reed’s Chapel Baptist Church. Interment will be in Reed’s Chapel Cemetery.
