Rachel Stagner Bentley, a resident of Chunchula, Alabama, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was 53 years old. Rachel loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Rachel enjoyed reading her Bible and praising the Lord. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her. Rachel was preceded in death by her parents, Ray E. and Faye Stagner. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Alfred Colan “Peanut” Bentley, Jr.; sons, Jonathan Bentley (Holly) and Joshua Bentley (Miranda); grandchildren, Michaela, Zaela, Coltan, Hunter and Caleb; sister, Regenia Baugh (Matt); mother-in-law who was like a mother to Rachel, Judy Bentley; nephew and niece, Blake Baugh and Breanna Baugh; other relatives and many friends. The family will receive friends from 11am until the 12pm funeral service Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Williamson and Rev. Huey Fillingim officiating.
