Regina Sue Culpepper, a kind and giving soul, who loved the Lord, passed away on August 27, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. A hard worker throughout her life, Regina was known for being feisty when she needed to be. Her departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Regina cherished her role as a mother to Kimberly Normand (Frank), Rick Manning Jr. (Teresa), Tim Manning (Anna), Cantrece Withers (Andrew), Eric Culpepper, Keith Culpepper (Crystal), and Penny Bond. Her greatest accomplishments were undoubtedly her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She took immense pride in their achievements and held a special place in her heart for each one of them.
Regina's hobbies included dancing and bowling. She often delighted in going on cruises that allowed her to embrace new experiences and create beautiful memories with loved ones. Additionally, she thoroughly enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports—a testament to her unwavering support for each of them.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Wayne Culpepper; mother, Gladys Margaret Taylor; father, James Taylor; sister, Cynthia Turner; grandson, Mark Dewayne Watkins; and granddaughter, Megan Suzanne Manning.
In addition to her children, Regina is survived by her grandchildren, Brittany H. (Holly), Amanda Y. (James), Justin (Felicia), Ryan, Braxton (Kacie), Cara (Scotty), Tyler (Kaylee), Alex, Brittany G. (James), Scott (Ashley), Zack (Alyssa), Morgan, Dewey, Donaven, Courtney, Timothy Jr. (Tara), Kianna, Nicole, Tiffany (Darrell), Bradley, Devin, Kaylee, Belle, and Amanda S.; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Logan, Tegan, Emerson, Jasmine, Julius, Phoenix, Madilyn, Noah, Eli, Kylen, Audrey, Ellie Kate, Colton, Cooper, Callie, Bennett, Hunter, Raelynn, Bryce, Xavier, Zander, Greyson, Lavaughn and Brooklyn. They will always cherish the memories they made with their beloved grandmother.
A visitation will take place on Friday, September 1, 2023, from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service at Freeman Funeral Home with Diane Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
Regina Sue Culpepper will forever be remembered for her kindness and generosity. She leaves behind a legacy that reminds us of the importance of family, love, and Jesus. While we mourn her loss today, let us also celebrate the remarkable life she lived—an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
