Rellia Mae Lofton, born on September 25, 1946, with a vibrant personality described as bubbly, loving, and possessing a servant heart, has left a lasting impact on all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She passed away on March 21, 2024, leaving behind cherished memories that will be held dear by her family and friends.
Throughout her life, Rellia Mae was known for the warmth she exuded and the welcoming nature of her home where she always had company. Her hobbies included shopping, getting her nails done, and most importantly, spending quality time with her beloved family.
Her proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She found immense joy in being a part of their lives and watching them grow. Rellia Mae's legacy of love and devotion will continue to live on through each generation she touched.
Rellia Mae Lofton is preceded in death by her husband, Farron Lofton; her parents George and Elizabeth Byrd; and her sister Noreen Byrd.
She is survived by her children, Gregory Lofton (Tonya), Barry Lofton, Larry Lofton, Margie Dearth (Eric), Jarron Cain Byrd; special daughter, Val Stanley; grandchildren, Chris, Brittany, Liz, Shayna, Rebekah, Erika, Kayla, Ashton, Kenleigh, Krymson, and Easton; great-grandchildren, Kyla, K Mae, Ayden, Christian, Lillian, Haiston, Halia, Lowey, and AB; sister, Patsy Cole; brother, Ellis Byrd; niece, Alecia Byrd; best friend/sister, Crany Lofton; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
A visitation in memory of Rellia will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024, from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM funeral service at Simple House of Praise Church with Bro. Dean Hopkins and Bro. George Weaver officiating. Burial to follow in Byrd Cemetery.
