Renny Marion Odom, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019. He was 73 years old. Renny always enjoyed the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and he also loved to plant an overly abundant garden to share with the community. Renny was a faithful member of Restoration Church and was a deacon there for many years. He enjoyed serving the Lord on mission trips to Guatemala every June and September since 2005. He retired from the oil field as a maintenance supervisor, but he was a jack of all trades who would help anybody with anything they needed. Renny was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Renny was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Flora Odom; siblings, Andrea Byrd and Warren Edgley, Jr. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 54 years, Betty Jane Odom; children, Renee Odom and Jody Odom (Tammy); grandchildren, Gracyn (Dylan), Hanah (Josh), Quintin, and Madasyn (Christian); great grandchildren, Max, Aubrey, Zaedin, and Riley; siblings, James Odom (Rena), Elna McCain (Mac), Carlton Odom (Brenda), and Nancy Brown (Scotty); and other relatives and friends. A wake will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 6pm until 9pm, at Restoration Church. The funeral will be held Wednesday, May 01, 2019 at 10am, at Restoration Church with Rev. John Blackwell and Rev. Johnny Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery with Rev. Stan Clayton and Rev. Marvin Robinson officiating.
