Richard  Charles Burton

Richard Charles Burton, 45, a resident of Satsuma, Alabama passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in Mobile, Alabama. He worked as a deckhand on a tugboat with his daddy and later on he was a handy man. Richard loved to hunt deer and loved all his animals. He was of the Pentecostal faith and loved the Lord. Preceded in death by his father, Cecil N. Burton, Sr. and brother, Rex O. Reed. Left to cherish his memory his mother, Jaqueline L. Burton; children, Preshus, Richard, Brooklyn, Emma, McKenzie; grandchildren, Beverly, Rose, Skylar; brothers, Rickey D. Reed, Todd E. Reed, Edmond B. Reed, Cecil N. Burton, Jr.; sisters, Nicole B. Robinson, Deborah B. Dorn; other relatives and friends. A wake will be held 6-9pm, Monday, January 12, 2015 at Freeman Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 2pm, Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at McKenley’s Holiness Church with Rev. Jackie Snow officiating. Burial will follow at Reed’s Chapel Cemetery in McIntosh, Alabama.
