Robert Earl Baxter

Robert Earl Baxter, 60, a native of Citronelle, Alabama and resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 at Springhill Medical Center. He attended Citronelle High School and later worked on an offshore oil rig for over 28 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR and watching Alabama football in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his father, Winfred Baxter. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, J.T. Baxter, Kaylon Whigham, Rhena Baxter and Randle Baxter; spouse, Rhonda Baxter; mother, Ada Shoemaker; two grandchildren; siblings, John Wayne Baxter, Brenda B. Cole, and Daniel Baxter; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 11am until the 12pm Celebration of Robert’s life on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home.
