Robert Vernon "R.V." Miller

December 24, 1929 — February 6, 2010

Robert Vernon (R.V.) Miller, 80, a resident of Citronelle died Saturday Feb. 6, 2010 at his residence. R.V. was born in Citronelle he served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, he retired from Mobile County Public Schools as a Maintenance Supervisor and was a member of First Baptist Church - Citronelle. A family man he loved his Lord, Family, Country, Citronelle and it's citizens, the Auburn Tigers and the Citronelle Wildcats. R.V. is survived by his wife- Barbara Helveston Miller, son- Chuck Miller, daughters- Jean (Jack) Campbell, Mary Davis, Debbie (Bobby) Grandquest, best friend- Sandy, Grandkids- Dana Grandquest Dees, Robby (Stephanie) Grandquest, Jason (Kim) Smith, Joshua (Kristi) Smith, Shanna (Brian) Chafin, Jody Reed, Adam Reed, Great Grandkids- Rob Grandquest, Hannah Dees, Cody Dees, Savanah Grandquest, Emily Grace Smith, Cooper Smith, Sarah Elizabeth Chafin, Jolie Reed, brothers- Bobby Miller, Terry (Blue) Miller, Perry (Brown) Miller, sisters- Mildred Hennis, Bernice McAdory. A wake will be held 6-9pm Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010 at First Baptist Church - Citronelle. Funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010 at First Baptist Church - Citronelle with burial in Lambert Cemetery.
