Roland Beaulemette Donavan, III, went to his heavenly home on Monday, February 27, 2023.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of forty years, Mrs. Catherine Donavan; daughter, Jessica Parham (Jordy); son, Roland B. Donavan, IV (Shasta); stepson, Ronnie Baxter; four grandchildren, Jordan Parham (Marina), Madelyn Parker (Colton), Blake Donavan (Hannah), and Shelby Donavan; four greatgrandchildren, Braxton, Rhett, Stetson, and Ridge; sister, Francis Willis (Jerry); many special nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends.

Roland is preceded in death by his father and mother, R.B. and Dora Donavan, II.

Roland was an honest, giving man who dedicated his life to his family.  Roland was a very avid reader and loved telling stories of days gone by.  He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Citronelle.

The family will receive friends from 3pm until the 4pm funeral service Thursday, March 02, 2023, at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Denny McDavid and Rev. Marvin Robinson officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
