Ronald M. Hartman, 70, a native of Kearney, Nebraska passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at his residence in Semmes, Alabama. Ron was non-denominational, a lifetime member of Dalton McHugh VFW Post 5289 in Pawnee City, Nebraska and a lifetime member of National Rifle Association. He loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He served his country in the United States Navy for eight and half years during the Vietnam era. His civilian jobs included working at Mohawk Data Sciences in Salt Lake City, Utah and Idaho Falls, Idaho, American Microsystems in Pocatello, Idaho, and fifteen years at QMS in Mobile, Alabama. Ron owned and operated Progressive Technologies until his retirement. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 49 years, Thelma Jackson Hartman “Susie”; sons, Ty Ronald Hartman and Terry (Valerie) Robert Hartman; granddaughter, Lauren Savannah Hartman; grandson, Bradley Grant Hartman; sister-in-law, Teresa J. Osborne; nephew, Robby Jackson; aunt, Shirley Wissler, Dora Wissler, Valbory B. Slater and Ann S. Connor; very special relatives, Karen Moser, Rick Amos, Patricia B. Wesley, Carol G. Russell, Dale Burdine and Jean W. Coady. Graveside services will be held 1:30pm Friday, May 15, 2015 at Saint Cecilia Catholic Cemetery with Malcolm Slater, Robert Lee Dees, Rev. Donald Bond and Rev. John Coghlan officiating. Pallbearers will be Ty R. Hartman, Terry R. Hartman, Bradley G. Hartman, Robby Jackson, Tom Stevenson and Jason Arendall. Honorary pallbearers will be A. B.
