Ronald “R.J.” Henderson, also known as “30 Weight”, a native and resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away from this life to walk the streets of gold on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Springhill Medical Center. He was 65 years old. Ronald honorably served in the United States Marine Corp. He was a master craftsman and worked at Bender Shipbuilding for 24 years. R.J. was a faithful member of Lambert Grove Baptist Church. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by parents, Frank Henderson and Lynette Ainsworth; brother, Denny Henderson; grandson, Hunter Henderson; and daughter-in-law, Victoria Henderson. Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 41 years, Helen Henderson; daughters, Crystal Stevens (Chad) and Tracy Hovell (Adam); son, Ryan Henderson (Katy); 7 grandchildren, Breanna, Kamryn, Austin, Brookelyn, Kiersten “Red”, Raelyn and Bella; siblings, Tony Henderson, Randy Henderson, Gary Henderson, Kenny Ainsworth and Linda Allday; other relatives and friends. A wake will be from 6-9pm Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11am Monday, December 2, 2019 at Lambert Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jesse Byrd and Rev.
