She was born on October 23, 1958, and lived a life that touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we gather to celebrate her remarkable journey, let us remember the incredible impact she had on our lives.
With a personality that radiated warmth and love, Ruby was a beacon of kindness in our community. She had a heart so pure that she would give you the shirt off her back without a second thought. Ruby's compassion knew no bounds, and she continuously sought ways to make a positive difference in the lives of those around her.
One of Ruby's greatest joys in life was spending time with her family. There was nothing she cherished more than being surrounded by her loved ones. Sitting outside and watching birds brought her immense happiness and tranquility. And when she wasn't basking in the beauty of nature, you would find Ruby attending church and singing joyfully in the choir.
Ruby achieved many milestones throughout her life that filled her with pride. Graduating college was an accomplishment that showcased her dedication and perseverance. However, above all else, it was her children and grandchildren who brought her the deepest sense of fulfillment. She found immense joy in supporting them as they pursued their dreams and celebrated their victories.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ruthie Mason, who instilled in her the values of love, compassion, and resilience. Also by her daughter, Gentry Garrett; and sisters, Maureen Mason and Dorothy Mason.
Ruby leaves behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by those who survive her. Her beloved husband Cecil Hilton stood by her side through thick and thin, sharing an unbreakable bond built upon love and devotion.
The love between Ruby and Cecil blossomed into beautiful branches as they welcomed children and grandchildren into their lives.
