Russell Minus Dueitt

June 4, 1945 — November 9, 2012

Russell Minus Dueitt, 67, a native and resident of Vinegar Bend, AL, died Friday, November 9, 2012, at his residence. He was retired as an engineer for the railroad, a member of American Legion Post 164, Citronelle Lodge #637 F&AM, Shriners and United States Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Eugene and Blonnie Mae Dueitt; brothers, Owen Dueitt and William Dueitt. Mr. Dueitt enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Dawn Dueitt Moody and Lisa Michelle Dueitt (Bo) Wheeler; brothers, Haywood Dueitt, James (Carol) Dueitt and Royce (Jackie) Dueitt; sisters, Carol (Paul) Merritt and Sharon Lee; four grandchildren, Malorie, Amanda, Jacob and Matthew; great-grandchild, Brayden; and other relatives and friends. The Wake will be 5 - 8 pm Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle. The Funeral service will be at the funeral home at 2 pm Monday, November 12, 2012 with Rev. Junior Soutullo officiating. Interment will be at Mount Pisgah United Pentecostal Cemetery in Leakesville, MS.
