Sally Joann Weaver

Sally JoAnn Weaver, 58, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 at her residence in Mount Vernon, Alabama. Mama Cuz was a member of Saint Theresa Catholic Church and worked in the cafeteria at Calcedeaver Elementary School. She was an avid Alabama fan and loved to go crabbing on the causeway. She loved her chihuahua, Blue Bell and spending time with her children, grandchildren and all the other kids that would come around. She was preceded in death by her parents, Josiah and Francis, brother, Judson, two sisters, Della May and Carlane. Left to cherish her memory, her husband, B.B. Weaver, children, Joseph Weaver (April), Ceola Reed (Brad), Mickey Lofton (Crystal), and Terry Ketchum; siblings, William Hollis (Kathy), Josiah Snow (Philip), and Ben Grace Rivers (Ray); grandchildren, Lilo, Kalie, Jess, Florie Beth and Abe; other relatives and friends. A wake will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 6pm-9pm at Freeman Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be held 11am , Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Saint Theresa Catholic Church with Very Reverend William P. Saucier, celebrant.
