Samuel Henry "Buddy" Andrews, Iii

Samuel Henry "Buddy" Andrews III, 85, a native and resident of Citronelle died April 8, 2011 at his home. He was the Owner and President of Andrews Hardware Co., Inc. Mr. Andrews was a member of the Citronelle United Methodist Church, American Legion Post # 164 and Kiwanis Club. He was a past Boy Scoutmaster, Cub Scoutmaster, past President of the Jaycees, past Chairman of the Industrial Board and past Fire Chief of Citronelle. Mr. Andrews was also a World War II Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel H. Andrews, Jr. and Bernice Jackson Andrews and by his sister, Lucia Andrews Doby. He is survived by his wife Dianne Johnston Andrews of Citronelle, AL.; children, Samuel H. (Lynn) Andrews, IV of Fairhope, AL., Bruce S. (Jeanie) Andrews of Citronelle, AL., Paula (Tres) Buerger of Fowl River, AL., Lucia (Al) Delchamps of Helena, AL., John (Wanda) Andrews of Saraland, AL. and Mark (Pam) Andrews of Hattiesburg, MS.; seventeen grandchildren, Jason Andrews and Brian Andrews, both of Citronelle, AL., Ken Andrews of Mobile, AL., Claude Buerger and Lauren Buerger, both of Fowl River, AL., Freddie Delchamps, Vivian Delchamps and Alistair Delchamps all of Helena, AL., Adam Andrews of Citronelle, AL., Katie Andrews James of Chickasaw, AL., Tyler Andrews and Rachel Andrews, both of Saraland, AL., Joshua Andrews and Alex Andrews, both of Minneapolis, MN., Paul Andrews, Mary Allison Andrews and Logan Andrews, all of Hattiesburg, MS. A Wake will be 5:30 - 8 PM Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Citronelle United Methodist Church. Mr. Andrews will lie in state from 12 PM until the 1 PM Funeral Service Monday, April 11, 2011 at the church with Rev. M. Kathyrn Knight officiating. Interment will be in the Citronelle United Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Citronelle United Methodist Cemetery Fund P.O.
