Sara Lee Green

Sara Lee Carpenter Green of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021. She was 94 years old. She was the wife of Charles E. Green, now deceased, born September 08, 1927, to Grover and Sallie Carpenter of Koenton, Alabama.

Sara was preceded in death by one sister, Lelia Beech; and five brothers, Pugh, Woodie, Raymond, Ray, and John Carpenter. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Terry Green and his wife Leslie; four grandchildren, Amanda, John David, Joanna (Harley), and Stephen; eight great grandchildren, Justin, Tony, Porter, Justus, Noey, Macy, Seth, and Shelby; and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service Friday, November 19, 2021, at Freeman Funeral Home with Frank Shrable and Edward Massey officiating.
