Sarah Elizabeth "Liz" Waite

Sarah Elizabeth Waite, known affectionately as Liz, exchanged her earthly vessel for her eternal home on Sunday, December 06, 2020.

Liz was born March 16, 1976, and her captivating laughter delighted family and friends throughout her life. Her boundless love was unconditional and unwavering. She enjoyed Alabama football and cracking jokes, and she relished spending time with her precious grandchildren most of all. Hallowed memories of Liz will be reverently embraced by all those blessed to know her.

Liz is preceded by her beloved parents, Sarah Ezell Reed-Webb and Ralph Wayne Webb; and her cherished son, Anthony Wayne Waite. She lives on in the hearts of her adoring children, Michael Edward Waite (Hilary) and Whitney Waite (Jerry Johnson); her caring husband, Jeremy Waite; her beautiful grandchildren, Jalen, Uno, Mia, and Jerry’lynn; her devoted siblings, Yvette Reed (Joe), Marilyn Webb, Alton Webb, Quentin Webb, Toby Webb, and Anthony Wood; her loving nieces and nephew, Rachel Robinson (James), Logan Reed (Cody Norris), Sarah Jessica Reed, and Gavin Reid; and her many treasured relatives and friends. The family wish to express immense gratitude for the kindness and thoughtful sympathies offered during bereavement.

A wake will be held for Liz from 6pm until 9pm on Friday, December 11, 2020, at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle, Alabama. Her funeral will begin at 2pm on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at Happy Gospel Field Holiness Church in McIntosh, Alabama. Burial will follow at Reed’s Chapel Cemetery.
