Sarah Mae Douglas

Sarah Mae Douglas, age 72, of Mount Vernon, AL, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at her residence. Mrs. Douglas was a member of Hickory Grove Holiness Church. She is survived by her three sons, Dutch (Sylvia) Byrd, Ricky (Vernell) Douglas, Tad (Kim) Douglas, two sisters, Edith Orso and Natalie Bruner, four brothers, Sam Byrd, Richard Byrd, George Byrd, Clyde Byrd, 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, special nieces Sandra Byrd and Shirley Rodgers, special friends Betty Lou Hopkins and Debra Smith. A wake will be Thursday, June 10, 2010 from 6:00 PM until the funeral service 2:00 PM Friday, June 11, 2010 at Hickory Grove Holiness Church with Rev. Travis Evans and Rev. Clyde Byrd officiating.
