Sharon Kay Helveston, a resident of Charity Chapel, Alabama, passed away Monday, August 09, 2021, at Springhill Medical Center. She was 69 years old. She retired from Searcy Hospital as a nurse and also worked at Mobile Infirmary and Alabama Medical Group in Mobile. After retirement, Sharon enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends in Biloxi. Most of all, Sharon loved spending time with her family and was a loving mother and grandmother.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Helveston; daughter, Wendy Sullivan; granddaughter, Krymson Sullivan; parents, Frank and Jeanette Andrews; and brothers, Charlie Andrews and Frank “Bubba” Andrews.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Chuck Helveston (Ashley); grandchildren, Katelyn, Kristen, Jordan, and Jay; great granddaughter, Krimson; sister, Carolyn Harris (Gerald); brother-in-law, Johnny Helveston (Gail); sisters-in-law, Charlotte West (Mack) and Joyce Graves; and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Reid and Rev. Johnny Helveston officiating.
