Sharon Newton Henderson

April 25, 1945 — March 3, 2019

Sharon Newton Henderson, 73, a native of Butler, Alabama and longtime resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Springhill Medical Center. She was a homemaker, loved to dance and fishing. Sharon was a loving mother and grandmother. She was loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Henderson; son, Randy Henderson; and daughter, Wanda Evans. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Mark Henderson (Marty), Dwain Henderson (Cindy), Donna Reneau, and Al Henderson; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Cooper and Kathy Collins; brothers, Vernon Earl Newton and Paul Newton; very special friend, Jeff Roberts; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Lockler Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Perkins officiating.
