Shelby Annette Chestang

Shelby Annette Chestang, a resident of McIntosh, Alabama, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022. She was 62 years old. Sister Annette was a faithful Christian, loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed the calling upon her life to minister and sing praises to God.

Sister Annette was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Chestang, Sr.; parents, Zemon and Erma Lee Weaver; and sister, Mildred Faye Weaver.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Roxanne Reed (C.C.), Bobby Joe Chestang, Jr. (Tosha), Adam Chestang (Melba), Nelson Chestang, and Emily Chestang (Brandon); sixteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Lynne Cordelle (Ricky); brothers, Z.J. Weaver and Kendall Reed (Tiffany); other relatives; and many friends.

A wake will be held for Sister Annette Thursday, March 03, 2022, at Magnolia Holiness Church, beginning at 6pm. The funeral service will be held at 2pm Friday, March 04, 2022, at Magnolia Holiness Church with Rev. Carl Rivers officiating. Burial will follow at Hillspring Cemetery.
