Shirley Ann Denmark

Shirley Ann Dykes Denmark was born July 10, 1955. She lived her life in Citronelle, Alabama and worked for South Alabama Utilities for 39 years. She poured her life and love into her family and friends. She was welcomed into the arms of her savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 10:30pm surrounded by her family and prayers of loved ones. Shirley was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Henry Dykes. She leaves behind her loving husband, Lee Denmark; mother, Ola Dykes; brothers, James Dykes (Deborah) and Jeffrey Dykes (Nikki); sisters, Kay Sellers (Kenny) and Carol Jo Gartman (Don); sisters-in-law, Patty Wilson (Clyde), Linda Saxon (Mike), Sharon Mannon (Joey); brother-in-law David Denmark (Tina); numerous stepchildren, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends whom she loved and adored. A wake will be held Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 6pm-9pm at Bethel Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held 11am Friday, October 11, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Robinson and Bro. Donnie Cunningham. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
