Simmie Kelly, Sr.

Simmie Kelly, Sr., a resident of Turnerville, Alabama, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021. He was 67 years old. Simmie was a Christian man with Christian values, and he is spending eternity with his Lord and Savior in Heaven. He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Kelly; mother, Joyce Kelly; and brother, Eugene Kelly. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 47 years, Linda Kelly; children, Simmie Kelly, II (Christina) and Blinda Selmon (Lee); grandchildren, Simmie Kelly, III “Tres” (Shianne), Dayemon Kelly (Kellie), Blaise Kelly, Linux Williams, Leah Selmon, Mae Kelly, Noel Way, Xavier Way, and Jordan Way; great-grandchildren, Alaya, Branson, Caden, Slayde, Beau, and Malakai; siblings, Gloria McAdory (Donnie) and Bruce Kelly (Doris); nephew, Michael McAdory; and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 11am until the 12pm funeral service Friday, September 03, 2021, at Turnerville Baptist Church with Rev. David Carpenter officiating.
