Stacey Alison Brasier

Ms. Stacey Alison Brasier, 44, passed away at her home in Mobile on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. She graduated from Augusta Evans School and went straight to employment with MARC. Ms. Brasier was very active with the city of Mobile Recreation Department Special Activities where she participated on the Special Olympics Bowling Team, a Green Belt in Taekwondo, and traveled to several states with the city program. She enjoyed going to church and having fellowship with others and praising the Lord. If she ever got her hands on the microphone, she would surely give a testimony of what Jesus had done in her life. Alison was an artist and shared many of her paintings with family and friends. Alison was an avid Alabama Football fan and enjoyed game day with her family. She never met a stranger and was well known and loved by family and many friends. One of her favorite past times was having a cup of coffee with anyone that would share time with her. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, LaReed and Maxine Parnell; and her grandfather, Bill Brasier. Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Reed Parnell and Larry (Karen) Brasier; brother, Gammon (Emily) Brasier; sister, Leslie Brasier; grandmother, Jean Brasier; Nana and Pawpaw, Bonnie and John Byrd; nieces, Taylor and Sydney Brasier; and a host of aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends from 11am until the 12pm Celebration of Alison’s life on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Simple House of Praise Church with Rev. Greg Kirkwood officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made in Alison’s name to the Mobile Association of Retarded Citizens (MARC).
