Mr. Stephen Nelson Britt, 69, a native of Millry, Alabama and resident of Semmes, Alabama passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and owned/operated Stephen’s Auto Sales for 40 years. Steve drove a race car for many years and he lived life to the fullest, loved his animals especially Dewey, and dearly loved his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra. Left to cherish his memory his loving wife of 48 years, Brenda Boyles Britt; sons, Todd Britt, Terry Britt; daughter, Tori Britt; adored granddaughter, Briley Britt; brother, Don Britt; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 26, 2014, from 11am until 12pm funeral service at First Assembly of God - Saraland with Rev. Jessie Moseley and Rev. Derek Draughon officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Saraland, Alabama. Active Pallbearers are Wakey Boyles, Kenny Boyles, Donald Hodges, Jessie Moseley, Butch Harvell, Jr., Eddie Hamrac.
