Terry Leon Taylor

Terry Leon Taylor, age 60 of Carrollton died Friday, May 28, 2010. Mr. Taylor was born in Mobile, Alabama on August 15, 1949, the son of the late Horace and Clara Taylor.Terry graduated from Citronelle High School in 1967 and received his degree in forestry from Auburn University in 1973. He is survived by his two children, Dr. Melanie Marie Taylor and her husband, Dr. Richard Sue of Phoenix, Arizona, Keana Theresa Taylor of Houston, Texas, his two grandchildren, Elyjah Shayne Sue and Sawyer Landon Sue, and his three siblings, Carolyn Hayford of Satsuma, Alabama, Brent Taylor of Mt. Vernon, Alabama, and Ouida Manchester of Carriere, Mississippi. Terry enjoyed reading, hunting and fishing, playing with his grandchildren, and spending time with friends and family. The Lord took him too soon. He will be greatly missed as a cherished father and grandfather. Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 1 at 11 A.M. at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Dean officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until the service time. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 2 at 11 A.M. at Lockler Memorial Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, Alabama. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 10 A.M. until the service time. Interment will be in the Cooper Chapel Cemetery in Silas, Alabama.
