Tess Cherie (Butler) Henderson

Tess Cherie Henderson, a resident of Semmes, Alabama, passed away December 26, 2022. She was 29 years old. She had a love for Christ and was a faithful member of Destination Church since 2013 where she was a part of the prayer/worship team. Tess loved going to church and praying. She was also devoted to her loving family and friends. In her spare time, Tess enjoyed rescuing animals, cooking, cleaning, and working out.

According to Tess, ''My greatest accomplishment in life was giving my life to Christ and being the wife I was called to be. One thing I've learned in life that I wish to pass on to my family is that prayer works with obedience and patience. I want my family to remember me for my faith in God.''

Her personality and laughter were contagious and she was the life of any gathering. Tess impacted so many people through her walk of life. Those people that she met will forever remember the lasting impression she left on them.

Tess was preceded in death by her father, Sidney Butler; and father-in-law, Joe Henderson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Corey Henderson; son, Brayden Henderson; mother, Debby Butler; siblings, Mark Harrison and Jessica Squires (Matthew); mother-in-law, Audrey Henderson; sister-in-law, Nicole Boland (Brad); niece, Addison; other relatives; and friends.

Her prayer was for God to ''touch all my loved ones'' and ''that my memory may be carried on by their FAITHFUL prayer.''

The family will receive friends from 10am until the 12pm funeral service Tuesday, January 03, 2023, at Destination Church in Saraland, with Pastor Wayne Sheppard officiating.
